In what situations is Frozen Heart better than Randuin's Omen?

It would seem to me that Randuin's Omen is almost always better than Frozen Heart. Randuin's gives slightly less armor but it gives Health, Crit reduction passive and a nice slow. The combination of high health and armor makes it more appealing to me as those work together nicely and who doesn't need more health?

So in what situations is Frozen Heart actually better than Randuin's or is it just almost always outclassed?

Frozen heart is good when you are up against multiple AA focused champions. Funny enough though, most times you buy Frozen Heart you'll want Randuin's first lul, considering most AA champions rely on crit.

frozen heart gives you 20 cooldown, so on something like Nasus vs an attack speed champ

Frozen Heart works when the enemy auto attackers aren't autoing you.

It also gives mana.

off the top of my head , you'd want frozen over randuin's on Ryze if you are facing a zed or talon in mid.

Is your opponent building lots of attack speed but not crit? Pick frozen heart.

So people like Aatrox and Warwick basically are who you'd buy it for.

If you're fighting a heavy AS team and already have omen for your crit reduction, getting a frozen heart on top of it works well.

I build Randuin's on divers because of its AOE slow, But frozen heart is super useful against MasterYi Irelia Warwick XinZhao and its a massive counter to Graves because it reduces a lot of his damage and slows his reload speed.
