Why Nerf the damage of Assassins so Hard.

As most of you already know, Fizz has been nerfed VERY hard in pbe. I'm probably gonna get a LOT of hate for this but... I think this was very unnecessary. Everyone is complaining about how assassins are too strong and how they can kill you in a instant. That is when you realize THAT IS THEIR JOB. A smart nerf to an assassin is like what they did to Talon and Leblanc, remove some of their utility but leave the majority of their damage so there is the ability to counter these people. The only thing that really needs to be done to Fizz is raise the cooldown on his e so he can't use it into a team fight and then use it out of it without any counter play and he would be much more balanced. This is also my opinion on Zed. He is suppose to deal damage so just nerf the cooldown on his shadow and lower the range on his ult shadow. I mean there are ways to counter these people even the way they are now. ( Malzahar )

Honestly, I'm fine with the damage. Let's take Zed for example. If I misplay, he should be able to jump on me and kill me. What he and other assassins should not be able to do, however, is shit on everyone in lane because they do crazy damage + have crazy easy farm clear + have super safe lanning phases because they have crazy escapes.

I should get punished for making a bad play against assassins, which is pretty much how it works now. I also think assassins should be punished for making bad plays. Currently, they are not. "Oh, I made a bad play? Let me use my crazy escapes to not die." They are just way too strong right now with all they offer + the nerfs to mages. rito clearly wasn't thinking.

The Fizz change is not even a hard nerf. He just can't hurr durr throw ult wrong direction and hit EQ to get the kill anyway. Assassins were already strong and then mana regen was gutted that only mages really built. That's what made assassins unbeatable

Personally I think Trickster should not be a "double-leap" ability.

Instead he should have the initial leap forward, and then the ability ends where he lands with his trident.

This way his mobility is toned down without him being completely gutted for escapes, but neither can move across most of the lane with both of his abilities.

Because Fizz is the one type of "assassin" whose normal abilities already deals a shitton of damage even at early game, as Fizz would always tries to QWE in, just for a "poke", when technically, enemy is already at about 50% HP. The hard nerfs on all his abilities plus a 20% amp damage on his ult would reveal Fizz as a true assassin, as all Fizz mains wouldn't even care if they miss their shark as they can still deal a lot of damage with just QWE & item 3100.

Its because they're trying to rebalance them back on the power budget. All of the champions nerfed have notoriously high amounts of mobility. Now they don't get the free damage to go with it, is all.

Talon still needs damage nerfs. Bad example.

They nerfed them because people have been complaining about them all for the better part of two months.
