permanent Odyssee Game mode

I loved this mode and to upgrade your champs. But why should it be a permanent mode ? I think Riot misses out on the pve aspect and this mode would be perfect. Riot could add more and more champions and monthly bosses and new monster waves. It would keep the mode fresh and the player engaged.
