@Riot Can I get an actual Balance Team view on the state of Kindred?
That's pretty much all I want. I'd like to know if there's any plans to deal with Kindred, what I can know about those plans, or if there's even any talk on Kindred changes. They're very team reliant and while this is a team game, the amount Kindred relies on coordination of their team is probably the highest out of any jungler. Their mini-game constantly makes the player decide between scaling, scaring off an incoming gank, maybe trying for dragon, or securing one of the other map objectives. An aggressive PvE marking system means that Kindred now has to invade to get half their marks, while the other half is once again reliant on the rest of the team to setup. If you ping the ADC, roam bot, throw the biscuit over their head, and go in, you still have to make sure that between the time you pinged and the time you get to the lane, that neither the ADC nor the Support (or TP Top laner) has scared or projected your incoming gank. A failed PvP mark is worse than a failed PvE mark, which is by no means easy to get if you're playing against a semi-competent jungler.
I'd appreciate someone from Riot with at least some official unofficial intel to respond, even if it's not a member the balancing team.
Or you know you could just respond with some memes or some shit, that'd be cool too.
Edit: I just want to clarify that I don't think Kindred needs buffs. I do think that the champion feels like a chore to play the moment scuttle stops getting marked. After that you're basically forced to try to communicate with a team who are so pre-occupied with their lanes that they don't care. Where-as the enemy team doesn't want a buffed to shit Kindred high on marks to come flipping into their lane like a god damn circus act, so they naturally two man the marks as they spawn. It doesn't take much time because it's all on their side of the map to begin with.
All I want to know is if there's any feel good changes coming to kindred. Even if the mark system isn't 'fixed' Kindred hardly feels rewarding to play these days. Same old Q , AA, W , AA, Q , AA, E 'combo' which is basically just flipping, auto attacking, throwing down the doge, and repeating, then to spice it up you toss down a slow/execute.
I guess this may seem interesting in comparison to some champs, but lets look at the old Kindred. The one with utility heal on the W which I wouldn't be surprised if it was the basis for Fleet Footwork, an innovative tank shred passive (that wasn't based on true damage I might add,
), and a target-able Ultimate that allowed for your ultimate to actually feel like your ultimate instead of a charity case to whoever feels like jumping into the friendship circle.
Now with
who basically does what Kindred can do, but better, and in the jungle...I dunno. Maybe Kai'sa is overtuned, maybe Kindred is undertuned, or maybe I'm just that gold-plat scrub who stares at an anthropomorphic lamb ass for fun; who knows.
The point is I'd just like to know something. Anything.
Edit 2: I deleted a comma that was annoying me.
