ranked is so trash in upper elos that they just come down to lower elos and shit on everyone. tired of seeing guys mechanically 100x better than anyone else in the game, bragging about smurfing and spamming their twitches after the game.
Unfortunately, smurfing isn't against Riot's code in which if they create and rank their new account on their own from the start, then smurfing is allowed. Situations where smurfing isn't allowed is if the account isn't theirs, they are in a tourney for RP/Rewards (Riot sadly doesn't fund those anymore), or well it's discouraged in Clash.
I understand that there are a lot of smurfs in silver, (Mainly cause back in Season 5, I found Silver to be more difficult than gold when I ranked to plat), but it's not an overwhelming amount to the point gold is near unachievable.
