At some point in the past, Veigar's passive tooltip would actually list the amount of stacks you got from each ability and from takedowns. But they got rid of that at some point. When and why? I can't find any discussion about this or any mention of it in patch notes anywhere
As a Veigar main I noticed this the last game I was in. I swore it used to be on the passive hover, but it just wasn't there and assumed I was being dumb. It must have been within the last few patches because when I came back from my hiatus this year it was still around.

They've been simplifying recent kit descriptions and adding more detail when you hold shift.
So I wasnt losing my mind when I couldn't find it on ARAM.
