How do I get a hextech chest for free

It told me next chest available in 5 minutes, and next to it a chest glowed with 2 more being shadowed. Then it reset and said next chest available in 6 days.

So how do I get that chest?

Get an S with a champion. Must have at least one chest available. Cannot get S rank chest twice with the same champ per season.

You or your premade have to earn a rating of s- or higher while you are playing a champ you own and you didn't earn any chest with already. In the champion list of your profile you can see if you already got a chest with a specific champion (golden frame).
