Buffing the Croc.....

Seriously? We're talking about a champion the dominates top lane unless faced with a ranged lane bully... Where do you think this aids top lane balance in any way? Your vaunted "no-counter" lane bullies in the top were a direct response to renekton... they all get nerfs (which affect the duo lane) and then you buff renek? you might as well throw in buffs to every other lane bully while you're at it... Honestly. non-mana based champions are only slightly less game-breaking than champions with offensively scaling shields...

I like it. The game was at least exciting when he was popular. You never see him anymore.

Renek is still pretty broken yeah, seen people go full damage with him and still hit about 3k HP with the ult. Personally he's a perma-ban for me and no idea why he isn't played that much.

A while back, his ult got an early game nerf. I suspect this change is meant to make Renekton more aggressive in lane again.

Every champion needs to be pick/ban worthy in all metas. What decides if you ban them or not should be the champion you are using and if your team composition can handle what they bring. Right now Renekton has lost his place as the Top Lane Monster and that was all he was before so he has nothing. I hope he returns to save Top Lane from this recent ranged shift. I personally liked the old days of the Melee with a very small amount of ranged Top Lanes.
