Did soraka's nerfs have been a little too big?
I was (yes, was) a player who main soraka from the start(lv 8). I loved her for healing and saving teamates to help them to win. I said was, I stop to play her since patch 6.5. I will try to let undertand why. First, soraka is a full healing focused champion. She doesn't do any damage, and she was dependant of her q to survive as she use her health to heal. Now she can't. Why she can't? Because her q dosn't heal her the same amount of health she use to heal... I see that the heal from her q just don't stack with the number of champions hitted. That was the thing who permit her to survive. Yea the instant heal help also a little bit too, but the mechanic where multiple hit heal her more is not here anymore as I see.
Another thing is the q size... This is too small you just can't hit anyone with a
q with 5 sec cooldown and more time to land, and when it land, you just won't heal yourself because you will take more damage from the ezreal or anything than you will heal yourself.
In teamfight, Im just worried that I can't stay, I need to recall to recover 90% of my hp after 4-5 w If I just don't die with
spear.
To finish, I think that regen heal mechanic is ok, but 1: The regen should be stacking(like, 5 time if you hit 5 champions...) 2: the q should return to his original size to permit multiple hit.

her Q-E-Q combo packed something like 1000dmg. I used to max Q and build her as a poke mage once i got good with landing Q. That 150% damage was insane and i probably won't be playing her anymore since they removed it.
