Why Smite only as Summoner Spell (?)
Have you ever had a game where jungler forgot a smite? I sure do. It is quite rare to see it but when it happens, you lose. You jungler can't buy jungle items and they receive less experience. They can go double top-lane, but you know what happens... that's right, flaming.
So my suggestion is this: Make a weaker active item of
smite that gives you all the experience in jungle so that you don't get behind. You could restrict it only smiting camps. dragons and baron bros.
It could even work like this: You have active type item where you have to at least three times basic attack a neutral camp. When you kill a neutral camp with that item, you receive "Smite stack" with jungle items bonus experience. That "smite stack" gives you an Smite as an item. This will determine that you are the "Jungler" in this game and if anybody else wants to just get benefit tough luck. And as side note, if you would kill a lane minion, you lose the " Smite stack." and you have to again kill a Neutral camp without smite.
This would even open a new game mechanic to the jungle for those champs that really wants to pick something else rather than smite.
I just found it absurd that you have to have certain summoner spell with you to even play a game.
Imagine this:
: You receive more XP when your ignite kills an enemy champion that this has to be picked by every mid laner ever.
: Target you exhausted will grant 2 near ally player more gold and experience for killing that champion.
: If you have over 2000 HP you recall twice as fast to the game.
This is same what
feels me to as jungler. You HAVE to pick it if you go jungle. Why Riot? What happened to your "diversity" speech? This is more restrcting than anything...
