Time to destroy AP Ezreal

The fact that Ezreal was on the enemy team doesn't mean he's the sole reason for the win. I'm pretty sure an AP Kog. could have done the same thing, as could a Ziggs and many other champions. CLG had a terrible comp. with little engage and almost no front-line. Moreover, they made many bad calls, especially near 5th Dragon. It's not as if this is the first 5k gold lead thrown with or without AP Ez.. Stop whining and adapt to other picks. The whining is bordering on retardation at this point and has little connection to reality or Ap Ez.'s winrate (even in the highest tier play).

I saw Ezreal do almost nothing other than land the occasional ult. Runeglaive does nothing for his ult. and it's not like he was OP before either. Just because a pick is viable and does well in certain games is not the same as OP - especially when teams seem to have such bad decisions and comps. against him.

Pretty big nerf to Runeglaive Ez and AP GP. I won't lie, it kind of makes me sad. I enjoy seeing more flexibility with Ezreal before this he felt weak as AP unless it was ARAM or URF. It's strong but I'm with the majority of players in that I would rather have a ziggs or kog on my team rather then the ez if I'm going for poke.

Isn't that exactly the same with Nidalee? Or Zed?

This is absolutely acceptable. Ever wonder why AP Ez almost never saw competitive play up until LCS? Because all he's got going for him is his damage, but also because those people up in LCS probably know what they're doing better then anyone who isn't a ranked team challenger member playing for a million dollars.

AP Ezreal already has huge weaknesses that gib his game without any active, deliberate counterplay or exploitation from his enemy. For example...

• He has no waveclear unless he plans on keeping his flagship ult, chunking his teamfight AOE damage.
• No waveclear = mediocre roaming/punishing the enemy for roaming.

Even more exploitable by picking Heimerdinger and crushing his turret and creep score. In fact, Heimerdinger is labeled as Ezreal's greatest hard counter in his champion.gg page with Ez's win rate being 36.61%. Even Zed can just shove the wave then go kill something.

• He has no CC, not even a measly slow, unlike the hordes of midlane mages with some form of CC or another.

About 49 out of everyone on this webpage of mages has a slow, knock up, stun, fear, charm, silence, etc. I'm not certain it's exactly 49 because my laziness overrides my frustration with this post.

• Everything is a skill shot. Everything. No small amount of his damage is tied to using his E offensively, throwing out his damage when used to get the hell out. Everything is avoidable.

All he's really got going for him is his skill shot damage, both in his consistent 75% ap Q (runeglaive + arcane blade) or 95% (Lichbane instead of Runeglaive), his AOE burst, and his awesome late game mobility. He's got a more severe problem a LeBitch with no kill potential will share. If she can't kill anyone, she can't carry or assassinate, and that makes her useless, unless she becomes the team's support. An Ezreal on a team that can't kill anything is beyond useless, so I think it's just fine he can nuke his way into redemption.

For reference, here is his champion.gg page. Even with runeglaive, he can't hit a 50/50 win rate in platinum+ games, so you're either not platinum+ and therefore, playing against him properly, or just can't appreciate a champion with a major defining strength.
