A Question about Hypercarries and Lategame Carries

My question is, why do so many hyper and late game carries have strong earlier games. I know that these champs also typically have "weak" mid games if they don't get ahead early but still it is just odd to me. Why do these champions get the tools to get ahead early and if they fail just stall out the game till late?

Some examples of this are: Azir with his soldiers for bullying in lane. Caitlin with her headshots and super range. Jhin; roots, ult, and garentted crit with missing health. Cassiopeia; level 2 cheese Anvia; level 2 cheese Tryndamere; level anything cheese And many more

In fact I think there might be less hypercarries/lategame carries without a potential early cheese or strong early than with.

Edit: I should have put more thought into the champs I choose as examples. Tryndamere and Jhin were bad choices.

This is one of the biggest reasons he was nerfed. He hyperscaled late game but also had a strong early. Kit is busted.

Caitlin with her headshots and super range.

Doesn't hyperscale like a Vayne or Twitch, but yeah six-slotted she is stronger than most carries. She has one of the weakest mid games and early late games among ADCs though, so she has to take advantage of her early game to get past that phase. She has an uneven power curve.

Jhin; roots, ult, and garentted crit with missing health.

One of the weakest ADCs late game statistically, and has been for a while. Jhin's burst is always powerful, but his DPS is nothing compared to most other carries.

Casseopeia; level 2 cheese

Yeah shit is sort of dumb, she's kind of lame lol.

Anvia; level 2 cheese

Not particularly strong late tbh.

Tryndamere; level anything cheese

This champion does not scale particularly well. His damage and dueling ability never falls off, but his complete inability to team fight and lack of versatility, CC, or utility make him less useful late game than someone like, say, Wukong, who doesn't have nearly as much DPS or dueling ability, but is hugely impactful in team fights.

Yeah, your probably right about Jhin but I do like to think that his crit build has the potential to output loads of damage at 6 items.

And I said tryndamere cause mostly cause of his late game out put.

Probably should have though about my example champs more. Mostly just wanna know why any late game champ has a superb early game, seems silly to me.

Jhin is not a late game carry. He's pretty weak late actually. He's strong late only against divers who don't respect him and get executed while doing nothing.

Tryndamere isn't that good late game either. His damage doesn't fall off but his ability to contribute to teamfights does, and that's big because late game, they can just decide to let you splitpush and then ace your team to win the game directly, or if you join, you just get stunned, knocked back and then once your ult is over, you can't stop them... or you just die directly because they ignite you 1 second before your ult ends.

There is no such thing call hypercarry or late game carry in league, it is only a myth. Most of these so call late game carries spike at 2 item.

I play hyper carries and trust me if you can't kill your laner at least 3 times you're already behind, if you're losing cs too, you're screwed, your damage is reduced to nothing and it's REALLY hard to comeback from it, not to mention that you're squishy af so if your damage is bad AND you're squishy, you're gonna feed like there's no tomorrow, i've only comeback a few times by not tilting and outplaying but holy hell is it hard because even then you still feel like your damage is 2-3 levels behind everyone elses
