What the hell? So in season 6 I was silver 5. Good starting point for me in season 7 right? Wrong. So I play my season 7 placement matches, going 8/2 and having a good/decent KDA each game. You know where I end up? BRONZE 3. I don't understand Riot's placement system, I got placed 3 ranks below my original rank. Thats some major bull, can someone explain plz..

You are a happy man then! Silver 5 usually end up in bronze 5. You played really well then. We all drop at the start of the season. You know, platinum players are in silver/gold now, golds are in silver/bronze and you have dropped only 3 divisions. Riot told you that you will drop. It's soft reset. You should be really happy that you fell only 3 divisions.

i went from plat 5 to silver 3 so dont feel bad.

It happens every year. 99% of the time you will start at a lower rank than you were. I believe the client even had a popup telling you that. If you don't belong in Bronze, you will have no trouble climbing out of it.

I was also silver 5 i played 6-4 i did play really good in the 6 games i won and in the 4 i lost i also played decent i was shocked i got placed into bronze 4. But it isn't that bad i just won 7 ranked games in a row and im already bronze 3 just playing some ranked yesterday. Don't worry if u are better than most of the bronze u will find out your self goodluck in ranked man.
