FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, riot please change the leave buster system. I have to wait 20 min before I play a game, all because I had to go down stairs to eat dinner with my family. Then I come back and I see "attempting to reconnect" so I reconnect and my team is still playing the game, I join back in and win the game with them. Afterwards, BAM LOW PRIORITY 20 MIN EACH GAME 5 TIMES. Like cmon?! I didn't even afk for longer than 10 min, and your gonna give me a 20 min wait each game for 5 games???? So please Riot, could you try to change your leave Buster? I know I deserve the ban for afk'ing but sometimes it wasn't even fair, like my wifi was down one day and I couldn't get it to restart. WHAM 10 min ban. And then again I played, and it was halloween and I had to go. WAM 20 min ban and other times like these ones. And then this...... I am speaking for the people who have frustrations equal to mine. So please riot, could you tweak your leave buster? Luv you! And btw I'm not trying to start any fight.

So wait, you started a game and had to leave to go eat dinner and now you're in the low priority queue? Sounds like the system is working perfectly to me. Don't start a game if you can't finish it.

Sounds more like you leave games often, so you shouldn't start them if you know you're gonna have something else to do. If they placed you in a low queue that means you've done this multiple times.

It really seems like you are starting games without knowing for certain if you can keep the commitment to stay for the entire game, and that's entirely on you. Sure, sometimes things happen that are out of your control, which is why Leaverbuster doesn't punish you for one or two leaves. It only punishes you when you show a history of leaving/disconnecting from many games, which you definitely seem to have.

The only thing I can say is you should probably learn how to manage your time better, and do your best to make absolutely sure you have enough time to commit to a full game. If you experience any technical difficulties, then be sure to fix them before you queue up for another game.
