think about it, when would you want him over any other top tier support? the only few times i saw yuumi good was with kaisa, jinx, sivir, some hyper carry but there is just other supports that are better than he is. I said it and ill say it again, just give yumi a complete rework, i dont mind it being another mage which is the direction it seems to be going now based on the items they are building.

I can understand people not getting Rek'sai's gender correct because shes a roaring abomination, despite her gender being relevant to her character (being the brood mother/hive queen of Xer'Sai, vicious shark-esque void monsters that tunnel around the deserts of Shurima and hunt by sound and movement, being blind.)
But i mean Yuumi is pretty obviously female in every single possible way Riot could imagine applying secondary sex characteristics to a cat, short of giving her an actual set of 8 or so cat nipples, god forbid human breasts. She's ... a girl.

It clearly says that even though you can refer to them by their gender, "it" is often used when refering to animals
"It" is used when the gender isn't known. Of course, "they" is also used in that situation, just as it is for humans. Using "it" when the gender is known is just absurd - but not as absurd as using the opposite gender, as OP did.

Düff McWhalen2 votesI say she's in a super good spot. I personally feel I can make her work in solo Q even. She might still be a little on the weak side, but I can usually make sure that 1-2 of her absolute hardest match ups are banned in champ select. You want to avoid enemy bot lanes with excessive amounts of front loaded base damage like Draven or Miss Fortune.
For enemy supports to avoid, Blitzkrank is the #1 worst match up to take Yuumi into if he's good. One pull and you waste everything on MAYBE keeping your adc alive. Thresh, Pyke, and Naut are equally as bad to fight, but I'm not seeing as much of them lately.
As Yuumi, if you can keep your adc alive, and not feed early, you WILL do well.
Edit: I run Guardian on her along with Revitalize and Bone plating so I can survive hopping off to recharge shield and often max E > W > R first and use Q purely for slow.
Encourage your adc to pick up Barrier while you run Heal, this creates the most benefit and all around sustain without the diminishing returns of multiple Heal summoners. Don't even bother with Flash, just run Exhaust or Ignite.

I run Unsealed so I have all SS and tend to use most of them thru a game. Unsealed book is a happy book.
