Why is ARAM random at all? Must we wait for Poro King to choose our Champions?

Can someone shed insight into this.

I understand that some champions are just busted on Howling Abyss like Fiddlesticks and Sona. But still... do we have to wait for Poro King to choose our champions?

if it wasn't random you would have comps that only run poke/shield/heal and then it will only be am

Choosing champs is literally the only reason I played Poro King

Riot should do the same thing they did with ARAM with urf, let players create custom games without all random, so if they prefer to play that way there is an option.
