Kindred has no friends except other Kindred. Although lore mentions worshipers at Bilgewater.
But Kindred does have rivals... Hecarim, Mordekaiser, Yorick, Thresh, Karthus. Does anyone know the back story of such rivalries?
All of their rivals have cheated death. Kindred is the embodiment of death.

Although I wil add, I doubt Kindred thinks of them as literal "rivals".
kindred is Death, split into two aspects... what do all their rivals have in common?
It's quite simple. Lamb & Wolf basically act as Runeterra's Reaper - they help people pass on from life to death.
On the other hand, Karthus and the like are all Undead - they defy the natural states of being.
The Shadow Isles champions are undead which defy the laws of Kindred who is death so they are enemies
