What's with the remakes lately?

In my last 40 games, there have been 8 remakes. What is going on?

Riot broke their client on 9.14 and haven't exactly fixed it yet, lots of people have client issues atm

I've seen more remakes in the past ~month than I've seen in my entire league career.

Also, it appears some troll has gone through and randomly downvoted this post so..... ftfy.
