I want to get peopls thoughts on AP supports specifically 
support
so my question is, what would ur first reaction be if u saw support on your team or against.
lately I have been having team-mates lose it the second I lock in this pick team-mates calling GG, accuse me of trolling, or say that they are gonna run it down mid, all this in champ select after I have locked in my pick. FYI, Im in gold 5, last season I finished in Plat 5 1 tricking Annie support.
My thought or more correctly assumption is that picking support you are able to stun with E, not just close. I can't say much as if you would be in my team, because usually I play support. But If I also see I assume you can hit skillshots, as it is your main way to scale.
Tbh I wouldn't be happy to face supports in opposing team and as an opponent support, as I don't really like rare picks and as long as you hit skillshots you are dangerous. I wouldn't be even happy to get closed or zoned by your E. Also playing mostly 
support I wouldn't find you too dangerous, as your W isn't hard to dodge and to use your E you need to probably come on the dangerous range to me. I wouldn't like to lane with you after you hit 6, as any mistake can start feeding you.
As all-in champion I would try to somehow bait your E before all-in, and you if you are stupid enough to use it, I don't see any threat in you. If you didn't use E I will try to all in you, not adc.
I think Veigar supp can be good if played right. Incredible lane threat and most people don't know how to deal with it, plus you've got good ap growth with your passive, so you can still do a lot.
That said, every Veigar supp I've seen has been on the enemy team, they've all started with Doran's Ring, and they've all stolen their ADC's farm. This made them early game problems, but easy as fuck to deal with once we got out of lane because they're fighting over CS - and not to mention, their ADC was weak as fuck too.
It needs to be played properly or it's just a mess, and I've never seen it played properly. That's not to say it has no potential, though.
Actually I despise playing with a Veiger support Most of the ones I get are always are going to take a lot of farm to stack Q , and they take farm when they poke with W and they give the adc no defense at all
