What in the fuck happened to the "On my way" ping?

Maybe I missed it but why the fuck can't you see who's on the way unless you look at minimap or someshit, and even then if more than one person spams it you can't tell lol

It doesn't even make a sound, bothers me too (especially when I play jungle and use it myself, I have to call it in chat since people won't actually see it)
How is looking at the minimap difficult?
So people cant say 'thanks for baiting me fucktard' to their junglers anymore by looking at chat
I thought they were implementing some new sound thing where it plays different notes depending on what lane and the sound by how far away?
Did they never implement that?
I want to know what happened to that pinging ward.
