I like the idea but I hate how it is carried out.

Patch 8.24 is releasing...

The whole smart system of detecting certain aspects in the game. From those aspects it will give players runes to choose from. I believe an RNG based system will never give players the right runes they need so why not change the runes function again as a whole.

Maybe design the rune so we can select a certain rune component from each rune tree and hold it for six minutes just like the unsealed spell-book.

This would start like an unsealed spellbook but would not let users pick their rune until 6 min in-game.

Example:

Picture a mage like Ahri she takes the new Omni stone. I will lane with no runes until six minutes. After six minutes depending on if it's someone I can kill I choose electrocute.

After choosing electrocute I will have it for six minutes and then it will be on cool-down.

Next six minutes I can choose any rune I like besides the already used electrocute and I would choose phase rush.

It would so nice!!!

Sounds like a handicap to play 6 minutes without a keystone.

No one will pick this rune without trolling.

I kind of like the concept they're going for. Your version, basically Unsealed Spellbook But For Keystones, isn't bad though. I'd just like to see how the 8.24 version pans out first.

OR. They could at the start of the game have a tab come up with all the rune trees or just all keystones. And have you either pick 6 keystones that will randomy change like it does currently or pick 2 rune schools and the keystones will randomly change between those ones.

Like someone could pick Electricute,DH,Conq, PTA, Comet etc and the keystones will only ever swap between those.

And the other one would be someone picks the domination and Sorc tree and the keystones will only ever swap between those 2 trees.
