Why do people hate Mordekaiser adc so much?
I don't understand why I am always flamed so much for choosing Mordkaiser adc. I carry hard with Mord most of the time. Mordekaiser has lots of things that make him useful: -2 heals -a shield gained from damaging with abilities -a handy Q -Dragon ghost; VERY UNIQUE -a kit that promotes teamwork
Sure he may not be ranged, but even before the rework, I've taken a melee as adc(I went Olaf) and had a blast. Mordekaiser is even better because if you kill the person you ulted, you get a stat boost and a helper.
Now I only take Mord adc if I have a tanky support with nice cc, like a blitz, naut, leona, or thresh. If not, it does not work. Same principle on the times I went Olaf adc.
Sure, Mordekaiser is slow. Sure, he has awful base health and resistances. But let's think of why---from a gameplay perspective: Mordekaiser has 2 heals for sustain, AND a shield, AND a Q that can deal hefty damage, AND don't forget the fact that Mordekaiser gets a stat buff when he has a ghost. That's why, although a defensive base stat boost WOULD be nice for early game, he still has bad base stats(Riot please buff the base stats).
If you grab CDR, AS, and damage together, you can keep your shield up nicely. I get this with Nashor's tooth, Black Cleaver, and Guinsoo's. Rylia's and Liandry's are also excellent buys.
My last game, a Cho Gath started to troll me because I was 5/5/13. Blitz and I did well bot lane. The 13 assists was me going in, doing damage, and my allies last hitting the enemy. Cho Gath said my numbers where terrible and began to let me die by walking away from 2 vs 3 fights, turning it into 1 vs 3. Obviously I was bursted into hell by the enemies very quickly, although we could have beaten them if he hadn't left(I had no AoE damage without him there). He just trolled me more and more saying Mordekaiser is not an adc and sucks. It was so annoying. If you look at my match history, I do very well with Mordekaiser.
Anyways, I csed a lot, got my items, pushed towers, got a triple kill, and we won the game.
