I was playing Irelia top into a Riven and at level 1 she jumped out of a bush, q me 3 times autod me and took half my health bar!!! How do you counter that? I couldn't dash through the wave as she was just running me down and my autos did no damage because I had no passive stacks. This might just be cause im bad but can you give me some ideas of how to counter that. Resourceless abilities and insane damage seems just a bit too op to me

I'm not, most players in this game are bad and showcase they are bad and should never even be slightly taken into consideration on when it comes to balance because they have no idea what they are talking about, as you can see from the poster directly above you.
Jamaree3 votesGenerally, not fighting her level one. Riven is a lane bully in that regard, also I extend the same advice I always extend, ever having trouble with something, play it, you will find out their weaknesses better.
DuskDaUmbreon2 votesRiven has a strong level 1 against people who let her hit all 3 Qs and Q-enhanced autos. Counter it by avoiding her Q. Force her to come to you using Q to get in range. Losing a few minions isn't the end of the world, so let the wave push a bit so you can get to turret.
