Was zz rot buffed?
No really was it buffed? I keep seeing people complain about what i thought was an obscure item on the boards. Also i was in a game where two guys on the enemy team had it.

Trick2g showed tens of thousands of players that he can carry by using zz'rot
Pro players finally learned how to use it properly. Others are now trying to figure it out for themselves, I expect results are mixed.
Split pushing champions have received a lot of indirect buffs and has become a lot effective. I don't think it saw much use in season 5 because it was a lot more about warding up and have 5v5 throwdowns over objectives. With the vision nerfs it's a lot harder to see the pathing of champions. You can grab a
and
once you have your
complete, sneak through the jungle, and set up a push. They won't be tracking your movements on the way to set it up, so they're going to be forced to react instead of already being set up to counter your push.
My favorite thing to play right now is

.
Depending on the matchup i'll either spend the first 5-8 minutes cheese invading to set their jungler ridiculously far behind and making him useless for the next 10 minutes, relieving pressure from my lanes. OR camping top/mid to snowball that lane. Once i feel that i've snowballed a lane/made their jungler useless, i'll power farm to my
while taxing lanes wherever i can. By this point i'm done with my early game shenanigans and i'm focused on pressuring the map in any way possible. Once
is complete is where the real fun starts. My favorite thing to do is deny vision in the area i set up my portal and camp towards that side. I keep up solid vision so any time someone goes to kill it, I can QRQEE from the fog and nuke pretty much anyone in the game.
If we're stupidly fed i rush
next, promote a cannon minion and set up my portal in the same lane. Then i group with my team elsewhere and the combination of
WILL force someone to go clear those things out, giving us the advantage in any fight and generally leading to us taking whatever objectives we feel like taking.
It didn't get buffed.
However, minions did.
The changes to minion mechanics made portal significantly more valuable since it can be used to add additional pressure to a lane if you're ahead or to relieve pressure from a lane if you're behind.
