Ranked

Hi everyone!

I'm going to be talking about a touchy topic here. I understand that I'm not a good player, but I don't have any friends to listen to this, so if you don't care, I understand. Perhaps people from all ranks experience and/or feel the same way.

Recently, I've been playing a lot of adc and I noticed that this season I've gotten a lot better as a whole. I've been playing since season 5, and I admit that I would probably be the player to tilt you the most with my decision making. But this season is different for me. I rarely feed and I've been pretty proud of the quick climb and improvements I've made. But since I've gotten to silver 1, I've just been getting frustrated with loss after loss. I get autofilled jungle often, and I do dodge since I know I am garbage at it. It just comes to the point where I'm going to have to wait over 30 minutes to play a game, which I cannot tolerate. I've just been losing games because we just get completely stomped or bot lane is the only lane that wins. Sometimes I manage to stall the game past 30 minutes, even though 3/5 of the team is trying to surrender. But of course, it's a futile effort since my team is busy complaining about how fed the enemy is instead of catching up. Don't get me wrong, **I don't mind losing games. ** I understand you can't win them all. But some games feel like I shouldn't have lost them to begin with.

Do you guys have any tips for me? I don't mind reading anything similar to what I have experienced so if you like then please comment below.

I'm open to anything, I'd appreciate the gesture.

I've been playing since season 5 too, and I'm Silver I too! (Gold V in Flex 5v5, Silver II in Flex 3v3.) I'm a top lane main, but I can play every role decently. I haven't had to lose any LP to dodge for autofill because autofill isn't a problem for me.

If you genuinely feel like you're doing consistently great but your team is dragging you down, take up the role as shotcaller if you think your advice could make your teammates play better. If you don't think you're doing so great in all your games, look at some of your replays or at least your match history and see what you're doing wrong if you don't know already. Are you getting caught out a lot? Are you good about taking towers? Is your farm decent? Are you prioritizing farm over your team? (I found that I was doing that last thing today.) Once you know what you're doing wrong, just try to practice not doing that specific thing wrong in a game. It can either be a ranked game or a normal one, but until you combat your weaknesses you won't advance as a player.

ADC is hard since you get no peels most of the time and if you do it's a win maybe you should do other roles to climb out of silver til you get to GOLD2-3
