Illaoi is way too powerful as a champion. Lets start with her e ability (Test of Spirit): It is a ranged "skill shot" (not at all hard to hit) and it does way to much damage to the actual champion. In order to not lose an infinite amount of you health to it you have to run a certain distance, at that point, you are slowed, then you have to dodge the tentacle that spawn and do about 100 damage per hit, and by the time you come back to not lose any more xp and/or cs she can already use it again. Her R (Leap of Faith): It causes life steal, WHY??? It is already broken enough, why does she get to heal off of it?

Thank you for reading my rant, here is a poll:

Her E do no damage at all on its own, it the damage she does to it that transfers to you.

In order to not lose an infinite amount of you health to it you have to run a certain distance, at that point, you are slowed, then you have to dodge the tentacle that spawn and do about 100 damage per hit, and by the time you come back to not lose any more xp and/or cs she can already use it again.

Or the fourth option, dodge it, that is an option you can take. Also stand behind minions.

Her R (Leap of Faith): It causes life steal, WHY??? It is already broken enough, why does she get to heal off of it?

Her R has no lifesteal, you should read how her kit works.

Illaoi is one of those champions that seems OP as shit when you play against her, but when you understand her kit and know how to play against her, you see that her counterplay has counterplay.

All her abilities have delay except for her ultimate.

Her doing damage to you relies that she is near a tentacle thus telling you exactly where she wants to position herself.

If you kill her tentacle or she isn't near one, unless she is fed, she doesn't have the damage to pop it in time.

Her main points of damage can all be avoided simply by orbwalking.

Her abilities root her in place and thus let you set up your own attacks.

She has a kit designed to be balls deep in five people yet lacks all the tools to do that properly as she can't just instantly be on top of you doing damage, takes prior set up to get optimal damage, she lacks the CC, mobility, or raw tankiness to get in that position.

And most importantly, her ultimate, the time when she is at her most powerful, the counterplay to it is just walk away. Not flash, not even use mobility, just walk away. Her opponent gets to decide when her ultimate is powerful, not her.

Play her, trust me you will see that while she has the potential to be powerful as shit, most of it comes from her opponent not understanding her kit.

Its her passive ability that allows her to heal off the damage the tentacles do. As for her skill shot, stand behind minions or dodge.

Illaoi actually needs bug fixes. She has sooo many game breaking bugs. Once you know them she is very easy to beat.

Her E is crazy slow that anyone without boots can dodge it unless she is RIGHT in your face. Dont stand in her Ult IF she does get her E on you, walk away and farm 15gp

You shouldnt really be getting hit with E, most of the time you can predict it cause of its low cooldown. But the E ability is just so powerful when it does land, and sometimes you get in a chain of always getting hit and you lose running away or trying to fight her.

Imo her E just needs to have power readjusted and or removed to make room for power elsewhere.
