Welp, there are a lot of persons getting annoyed about the adc changes but let be honest at least the role of marksmen is not practically dead for some dumb mechanic that can't be countered, of course this is another true damage post ............. What can i say? I used to main Poppy then she got nerfed to the ground and when she started to get buffs,her whole class got demoted to super minions........Playing tanks feel awful right now, you just can't TANK and that's the point of the whole class i know people hate tank meta but why going from an extreme to the other? Why can't tanks just be viable but not broken? And i'll be honest with you i would take tank meta over every other meta every single day of my life. Because it is the one that has been around for the longest time it doesn't mean that it is the worst. Or do you want juggernaut meta back? Or adcity meta? or deathfire grasp meta? I would love to hear your opinions and let's hope tanks can be tanks again (Btw sry if my english is not perfect im spanish) I did a quick edit , i took out the IE from the post because it was causing confussion.......My complains are about true damage and anti tank mechanics in general not just the IE

Riot ruined tanks' reputation overbuffing tanks that dealt DAMAGE. True tanks are unplayable atm, you got one shot by Eve or Yi or Kai'Sa or...

The only way they are still useful is if they have some hard CCs, so they can allow some OP damage dealers to burst enemies before enemies burst you and your team. Fun game.

No I mean people like the Nautilous main I talked to last season on the boards who said an ashe killed him in full build in 3 seconds by herself - despite the being completely mathematically impossible and demonstrating it via practice tool

There could be a lot that goes into it. He got kited she had blade and lord dom. Also naut is a bad example he is not really high damaging

Except I took the exact build he stated she used and showed the damage did not add up on even a target dummy with LOWER RESISTANCES than a full build naut.

What does nauts damage output have to do at all with his tankiness? If anything because he has "low damage" it should just mean he is tankier".

Even with fully stacked fervor and q prepped going into the fight Naut can tank Ashe for longer than he was trying to state.

And again even with taking 0 damage whatsoever it was not possible to deal that much in 3 seconds. Nautilus damage has nothing to do with his tankiness in a target dummy scenario.

Yi can literally 3 auto a tank at level 10. And once he gets item 3124 item 3153 item 1419 , he can 1v4

I got deleted by a Yi as Sejuani last night. I looked at death recap and he did over 2k of my hp in true damage over 3.5 seconds.

I don't remember my build at that exact moment, but I at least had item 1413 item 3075 item 3047 item 3083 and maybe components of a item 3190

with that argument no meta should be a thing.

in an adc meta they hurt you a lot while you can't kill them

in an assassin meta they burst you before you can even react.

in a support meta they are overbuffing their teammates with effort.

What about bruisers? If you make tank meta a thing again, bruisers are dog shit again. Divers too, fighters too. Tanks had almost 3 whole seasons but fighters cant have even 1? Nice mate.

There is a difference I saying "tanks should be playable" and saying "tanks should be the only thing allowed". Any time multiple classes are viable in multi roles you have a more diverse meta; as seen by bruisers seeing play bot lane now.

I remember a game that was like the best thing in the world i was playing Maokai against Nautilus and it was a blast , both of us were having soo much fun alone we didn't even group , at the end of the game we both honored each other ,i don't remember what team won but it was a lot of fun

I'm fine with tanks having more defensive capabilities less so with them getting more offensive ones.

Take Poppy for example since you brought her up -- why does a tank need a damage passive that she can use to poke every few seconds, a skill that deals good base, scaling, AND % Max Health damage. And then you add in 3 other skills that for some reason all have to deal damage so she for some reason has 5 damaging skills as a tank all with ridiculous high scalings and decent base damage.

I agree some tanks need buffs but I still wish it wasn't to their damage. Zac just isn't the flavor of the month right now Mundo is. Something about being ridiculously tanky on top of adding 110-220 AD on already one of the highest AD bases in the game...

The think with Poppy is that she is kind of a weird tank , here CC actually needs skill because is easy to fail and is not really reliable(Both her ult and E can loose you a fight if used badly) , and that won't leave you with an oops i failed that skillshot that will leave you with a F*** im in the middle of the enemy team and this guy is not even stunned .To compensate for that she is very bursty when she get's her full combo off but that's kind of hard with her low movementspeed and the fact that her e can be canceled not just by CC but also by blinks, im not kiding if an enemy flashes when you press your E the ability will go on cooldown and you won't even follow them..........:c
