Can malzahars w get an ad buff?

So during the rework a rioter said that it was their intention to ensure ad malzahar remained viable. At first it was but ad malzahar is usually played in the jungle and the 50% damage reduction vs monsters hurt ad vs ap to the point it is far outclassed. I was thinking a .05 might be all it takes as a buff. I feel this would be a good buff to him as it wouldnt buff lane malzahar very much compared to the jungle.
