Need some insight on Kalista + Advice

I'm actively seeking advice with Kalista since she seems in a rough spot against most matchups. Should I be playing her, should I be ditching her, or should I be waiting til Preseason to see what is done? Looking at most stat sites she seems to be sitting between 45-47% WR. No Rant BS here.

I actually enjoy playing this champion but the current meta of Bursty/Bully ADCs bot (and the addition of Stormrazor) kinda make it hard to play her without getting your shit kicked in. What can I do to fully utilize her playstyle? I know I can utilize supports like Rakan and Leona to get them in there and lock down a target but for some matchups like an Ashe/Lulu lane it kinda makes it harder to really do anything to them. Should I be trying more towards a traditional crit build or should I keep going with the standard Bork/Runaans/Rageblade build?

As I've stressed I actually enjoy playing Kalista but she seems to be easily countered by well... a lot of things, so I kinda need a wider viewing angle on what I can do or whether I shouldn't even bother picking her at all. For this one I'm pretty open to any feedback.

This is my opinion, why play something that isn't meta if you are trying to climb. I don't follow this advice I just play whatever but that's cause I don't really care about climbing. If your goal is to climb play something meta because more often than not the meta represents what is strong. Why play someone like Kalista when there are ADC's who do what she does but better. Playing what is fun isn't the same as playing whats best. Kalista will always be a niche pick, and for someone who is really good with her she can seem OP but like you said she is easily countered so why play her. I would pick one of the top 5 ADC's to learn if I were you, because they are likely to stay strong for a very long time, especially if they are newer.
