Need Help With Vayne Gameplay

Laning Problems- My Summoner name is rustin, as a champion I really enjoy Vayne, and all the things she brings to the game as a champion. This post isn't about her being broken or not good enough, I just want advice on how to play her more efficiently, During laning phase it seems that the constant Caitlyn or Jhin I have to play against (Which ever one isn't banned), and sometimes Jinx are always very hard to deal with, combined with strong supports, like Braum, Soraka, and Nautilus. It makes laning phase very difficult, and i'm sure some of you will recommend not to play Vayne, but I really enjoy playing her, i'm sure there is a way to get around it, that I don't know about.

Teamfight problems- Not as bad, as I am much better at kiting and playing Vayne later in the game than earlier (I know its also inherently easier because of items and levels) But I seem to have problems with them none the less. I either get popped by and assassin or burst mage, or focused by the entire team, Any help on how to teamfight with her is appreciated.

Build- I usually go Boots -> Shiv -> IE -> Berserkers Greaves as a core item build to start with, then either PD, LDR, or Merc Scim, please leave any notes that I should know about for my usual buildpath.
