5.13 AP Item Questions

I know it's a ways off, and they'll probably be answered in time anyway, but these are still relevant questions. First of all, and most importantly, the map scope. I see a lot of (Summoner's Rift), but does that really mean just that? For example, will there be different versions for Twisted Treeline such as with item 3286, item 3290, item 3007, item 3008, item 3029, etc.?

Secondly, it doesn't mention anything about the HP scaling on RoA, which would lead me to believe that it's unchanged (200 total, but now totaling at 500 HP). Is this correct, or did the MP portion "steal" the HP's, hence the doubled scaling? Because if this is the case, this won't shrink the amount of core items necessary to perform. In fact, it could increase it.

The third thing is that MP regen items (without any HP/MP, ex. Unholy Grail/Morello's) aren't really changing. So either they're in a good spot (?) or I'm missing something.

This seems to both hurt classic mages like Anivia, Brand, and Malz, by either forcing them to build multiple items for defense (RoA + Torment + maybe Abyssal/Zhonya's) or be just as squishy as assassins, but without any of the mobility, but also said assassins by decreasing the amount of mid game AP that they have access to. Ignoring the very powerful Rylai's buff, this seems like an overall nerf to AP across the board. If mages/AP assassins need a nerf (which isn't out of the question, but I haven't been hearing people complaining about mid lane much recently, which is also my main position), so be it. But let's not then try to sell this as item diversity. It keeps all of the late game power that mid lane is iconic for, but makes getting there even harder. That's a constraint, not adding new options.

Just my two cents.

This helps classic mages that rely a lot on mana because the mana items like athenes and the such now give a comparative amount of AP compared to the higher tier non mana giving items. So you wont feel like you feel way far behind because you picked up a chalice.

The problem with mana / mana regen itemization is burst mages want mana regen and large amounts of AP, spam mages want flat mana and CDR. These stats do not come together, which leads to spam mages either needing to be designed to no benefit from CDR Cassiopeia or have lots of built in CDR Ryze . And the best burst champions are then the ones that can delay mana itemization to pick up large AP items.
