Player A bans the pick that the person below them would pick, who thinks Mundo 4th pick is safe. To retaliate, player B bans what player A had locked in. Boom new form of trolling. Thoughts on what can be done to counteract this?
Quit being dicks.
play mind games and pre select a champ you have no intention of playing
Report player A and B for unsportsmanlike conduct
This has always happened, just not addressed or emphasized.
For example, people think picking teemo in poro king mode is auto lose because of his lack of contribution, so they ban teemo just so their teammates can't pick him. Or people believe Shaco is noob bait for URF because once opponents get to lvl 9 with sweeper his boxs and invisibility are no longer relevent and Shaco can neither tank push nor 1v1 anyone at that point, so they ban Shaco because they think the game's lost if an idiot on their team picks Shaco.
tl;dr Players mentality is the issue and best suggestion I have is work on identifying trolls&punish them. Developing systems that make it more difficult for trolls to troll will help but solves nothing.
