[Riot] Clarity on Cleanse summoner

What was the idea behind not allowing it to remove suppresses such as Warwick ult and Malzahar ult. The description says removes all disables and I was rather curious about this.

Thank you

summoner 13 gone not forgotten. should've been added to summoner 1

Because that's the entire point of suppression

It would be OP.

Because preemptively countering a champion's ultimate at no cost to yourself is not fun.

"But I have to give up one of my summoner spells for it! That's a cost!"

Unless you base your entire playstyle around which summoners you've chosen, that's false, and doing so is seriously hamstringing your versatility.

A suppression blocks your summoner from communicating with your champion. Summoner spells are controlled by the summoner, not the champion. Therefore you're blocked from using summoner spells during suppressions.

Honestly I think summoner 1 should be buffed to remove all debuffs, not just disables. Then it would be more popular.
