Patch 10.5 "Nerfs" for Sett

Do any of the clowns that work at Riot actually play the game at all? Like what in the actual fuck is going on? In what world is minor base stat changes actually going to effect the insane dominance Sett has in lane? Plus his R got nerfed, like seriously? It literally takes 1 trade with Sett to realize what needs to be nerfed, and its his ridiculous W shield. Like when will this be addressed?

Like his shield would actually be balanced in a way if it didn't do A) ridiculous damage and B) have an insane hitbox. But instead of nerfing something that actually makes sense they nerf dumb shit.

Oh and BTW those Ornn nerfs are shit too because one brittle proc at lvl 3 hits you for 50% of your HP, now it will only hit you for 40%. Smart smart people working for Riot.

minor base stat changes

That is completely false. His base health regen got nerfed by 12.5% His base Regen Growth got nerfed by 33% His base armor got nerfed by 10.8%

Those are pretty big changes.

Also, if you can't walk out of his W, that's your own problem. I've died to a big Sett W before, but I didn't blame the game, I shoulda walked out of it before it hit, which there is ample time for.

They should nerf the shield that stops him from taking a bit of damage for a short time but nerfing his ability to take damage for the entire game is bad?

Odd logic you got there. Maybe dont blow your entire combo on the shield and wait for it to expire and RAPIDLY DEGRADE

yES, they do work. The nerfs are pretty good nerfs without utterly gutting those champs. By any chance are you a clown?

You can easily avoid the W's damage by just going in for short trades. Extended long fights with Sett is his advantage. If Sett uses his W at 25% Grit it does very little damage. So either play a mobile champ that can avoid his E to pull you back in or play someone that can take Sett's basic and Empowered basic one-two punches and don't give him so much Grit. That's all you have to do. It isn't hard to figure out. Worst case scenario you play a champ that can poke him with good mobility or disengage ability like Lucian or Quinn or hell Pantheon and Aatrox can poke him with their Q's. End game is if you're making it a goal to score solo kills you're playing the game wrong. Solo kills are just opportunities that you don't have to get in order to get ahead.
