The death of the Marksman

OH MY GOD, stop crying. adc have been played contineously for 5 years since the mage meta and theyre still being played right now every single game.

boohooo bruisers are relevant again, that doesnt mean marksmen are dead. it just means marksmen with terrible positioning get dumped on more easily.

come back when adc havent seen play in 2 years like tanks did.

The only role that has been perma-picked and 100% needed for 4 seasons of competitive play. Cry more, your role has been dominant forever and still is.

Marksman are scheduled for itemization changes in the upcoming preseason I believe. There is no reason to freak out over the position or come to the conclusion that the role is obsolete.

Marksmen are fine. You can perhaps make an argument about why their usual position (ADC) is in need of help, but Marksmen on their own are fine.

i main adc...and its a fine time to play adc. everybody has always been able to kill you. darius pre buffs could kill you. skarner pre buffs could kill you. basically everything can kill you. thats the nature of adc. you have to be a good adc to overcome the fact that everything in this game wants to get you because you ARE the carry. (i refuse to call adc marksman btw). i think honestly its a better time to be adc than it was in the cinderhulk era. that was the only time being an adc felt opressive. I remember games where I had tons of crit, attack speed, armor pen, like full armor pen, and still could not get through a tank with 20 autos. it was just too much. right now, theres a lot of cheesy stuff...but the cheesy stuff is more of a problem for top laners because of how overpowered darius, and fiora are.
