Plat+ ruining games for casual players.

So. Am I really the only casual player with a life who can maybe get a game or two in a few times a week that is HIGHLY annoyed by Plat+ players ruining normal games?

As much as I love seeing a jungle Nidalee/LeeSin/Shaco pubstomp silvers match after match going 20+/0 it's really ruining the gaming experience for a lot of people. And "play ranked" does not help this. One because, like I said, I can barely get any matches in as is. Two because that should not the answer to this problem.

I feel like the ones that disagree are the Plat+ ruining the game. And anyone who agrees are the silvers being slaughtered by people who play way too much.

What are the chances Riot will ever fix this issue? It's a simple fix. Just make a queue pick for the lobby uou want. Sure people will smurf it. But then they can't play ranked any more.

If you are consistently playing against plat level players in normals, it means you either have a high MMR or they have a low MMR.

Beyond that, you're implying plat + players cannot possibly be playing casually and even make it out like they have no lives. That is a pretty big assumption :/.

Normal has the same matchmaking as ranked. The MMR values are simply separate. If you're facing plat players in normal and lesser players in ranked, it means your normal MMR is higher than your ranked MMR.

Casual plat players must be like.. 5% of them. The fact that they made it to Plat is enough to justify them past casual. It takes a TON of matches to get that lucky to get up there. And if it didn't take a ton of matches then they really are that good. In which case it goes right back to them pubstomping silvers.

While I get your point. You didn't stay on the topic of they shouldn't be matched with no rank players.

You are both missing the point.

Let's say.. for MMR. I can hold my own. Now my teammates.. who are dying left and right.. can not.

Goes right back to the system needing to have a max rank to play against.

Every player in your game should have a similar MMR, except for those that queued together and had significantly different MMR. So really, on average, the players on one team should be at least close the the MMR of the other team. If your teammates are getting wrecked then you're likely one of the better players on your team, and should get really fed and help your team win. Or your teammates could've just been trying new things in which case you're likely just screwed.

Really though I don't think this is a big problem. I'm platinum and when I play normals, at least when I 1 queue, all the players seem reasonably good and it still feels like a close to fair game.
