So Many Garbage Runes
Why are there runes no one should ever use and still cost IP? It's bad enough movement speed costs so much but now I can waste money on AD glyphs? Here are some runes I think no one should waste IP on, getting 3 just to round up some stats can be fine but besides that don't bother and just default to armor seals and MR glyphs.
Scaling mana: By level 6 if you have mana problems you probably already have tear, chalice or idol. Scaling stats are for the later parts of the game and would be used for AP, resistance, CDR, maybe max health. Having more mana than you can use just shows you wasted money but atleast you'll keep a Manamune for the other stats.
Energy: Mana and mana regen runes (atleast flat ones) you atleast have a reason to get because it often runs out before you get your tear or Ryze could get some more damage, but Energy is well sustained on its own in exchange you don't get items to make it better. Don't waste time getting more energy for Shen and only Shen cause you don't play Kennen that much, Zed is fine and would rather just have health and Lee Sin is virtually cooldowns only with Flurry.
Critical hit %: This might be just me but maybe don't get crit chance as your early game bonus. It's a gamble if that bonus damage hits at good times, every other attack is going to be weak, it can screw up your farming, you even get better rates with flat AD so wait until later to get crit items and fill your page with more reliable damage.
Exp and Gold: Oh wow, 0.5 gold per second in exchange for seals and quints, that's like... 189 gold at 6 minutes. Meanwhile you could have started the game with 9 bonus armor for nothing, 3/5 a cloth armor that would normally cost you that much and you get it at the very start. Maybe if the game goes for 5 hours gold runes mean more but it's always better to just have those stats at the start or get better MR after lvl 6. As for Exp, just play better and you'll get the advantage, you won't need 6% more exp for the edge.
Most all mismatched stats: Why would I build 0.77 mage resist in marks when I can get 1.34 in glyphs? I doubt anyone is going to need that extra little resistance when they can get flat AP or penetration. Same for a lot of non quint runes where you can get better stats per set from another color. Any page with all possible runes devoted to attack speed is either a joke, only viable on Vayne who sucks early anyways or going to fail anyways cause you could be improving armors and damage.
