I think adding assist sprees into League could be a cool feature. It shows who's there to help a teammate by keeping their deaths low and assists high. I also believe that it would encourage more teamwork due to recognition. People like to be recognized for what they do.

Gare Jordans1 votesThat's neat. I've never heard that before. I just figured that since it's rare to go on a large streak of kills, it'd be just as hard to go on a large streak of assists without dying. People who can do that should be recognized for their outstanding play.
Lumus Avatar2 votesI think recognition would be cool. I had 48 assists in my last game as Lux. Only 4 deaths, so I must had some sort of impressive streak on one of those lives, right? Wonder what my best assist streak was that game..

ValyrianBlade2 votesI think it would be great. Just the announcement, and record it as a post game stat. Show where assists occurred for a champion as well in match history. There's a huge difference between someone who gets a lot of assists early game (and hence was likely a huge factor in earning the kill) and getting a lot of assists late game (when your team is stomping you'll rack up assists even with poor play). It would be nice to be able to differentiate.
Back on topic, assist sprees could just be announced at higher lengths to prevent announcement spamming, and could be only a visual icon if other announcements are in queue to be made. I'd hate to hear "adc killing spree" "support assist spree" go off every time bot Lane gets a kill, but it would be nice to hear in most instances.

TEEMOcalypse1 votesthis is a nice sentiment, but i prefer not to lane with people anymore (too many fools) that being said, i do have my jungle games where im all assists - usually as tanky jungs like skarner if the assist spree isnt already there, i agree to adding it
