Why all the Kalista hate..?

I mean seriously. Yes, her kit, on paper, seems so freaking broken it isn't even funny. What people aren't looking at though is the fact that she's going to be more geared towards higher elo games. Yeah, if you're good enough with her you can still probably do pretty well in low-mid elo, but that whole W passive that's got everyone shitting their pants means that you've got to have a measure of synergy with whomever you're linked with.

I mean damn, just look at my recent games or whatever, I completely suck with her for the most part (and yes, likely due to the fact that I'm at a low elo and I'm still new with her), but still. All I'm saying is that unless you actually understand how to play her and work well with other players which, given this game's reputation for its community, isn't typically the case.

  • Either way she's likely going to be nerfed. It's not I'm saying that she isn't strong, but people are just getting bent out of shape over her way more than they should be.

All the hate is because she's stupidly overpowered. It doesn't require all that much skill to dominate with her either as far as I can tell. Everyone is doing it.

Well, I know that in part, some of it is that there are instances where you CAN'T refuse Kalista's Black Spear, which is kind of a bad thing if you, you know, don't particularly want to be binded to her.

I just got out of a game with her. It was me and Karma bottom against a Twitch/Zilean bot and, early on, things weren't in our favor at all. Because of how her passive works Zil could just E himself and get at least a Q, if not a QWQ off on me and just chunked the hell out of me. As I said though, I'm still new to her and probably not very good, haha.
