League border system sucks!!

This system sucks soo much, the idea that you have a border every new season for a reward is so dumb, I was Silver last season...(I'm not going to say anything about that wasn't trying to claim tbh) but flew past Gold into Plat not that long after placements been there pretty much ever since but the frustration is I have to wait pretty much a whole year for my nod of recognition from riot to give me my border,(obviously not a year now but I'm only making this thread atm.. you get my point)

every single game I go into I have this constant **** Silver border floating around my champion loading picture reminding me of how bad I used to be. I mean It doesn't even bother me about other people in my team knowing I was Silver last season, frankly I couldn't give a damn but it's annoying to have to work hard to get into Plat... well actually wasn't that hard but still I want damn border man, not a crappy silver border, Riot why can't you just get border's instantly when you gain a league so the experience is more gratifying. Why does it have to be "only a reward" that you have to wait nearly a damn year for.. Seriously?? anyone with me on this? And btw for people that have been in a particular high league and not too fussed about it, I'm sure you can remember what it was like to claim only to have those damn borders circling around you every game, Ok Rant done

Seriously I would like to know how everyone feels about this.
