I've been wondering....

So, with All-Stars coming up I've been wondering why there isn't a game mode for 1v1s using the same rules they used in the 1v1 tournament last year. It seems like something that would be fairly popular among community members and in some cases could be used to run fun small scale tournaments among friends.

Now I'm not saying there needs to be a matchmaking queue for it, just a purely custom game mode that is played on Howling Abyss and uses the same rules.

Has this question already been asked and answered? And if so what was the reason given? I'm just curious here as it seems like something that would be pretty positively accepted to me.
