The free to play champions you start out with are what Riot considers the easiest to use so I guess try them. It might be a while before you find a champ you truly synchronize with. Everybody has different styles so it's hard to say what will work for you.

But I would suggest you starting with AI games if you're never played league before. PvP is fine, but be warned, you'll be having a much harder time with the presence of smurfs and premades bringing skill into the game that might be too hard to learn anything from if you don't understand it.

well i started league in may and i basically started playing pvp as soon as i hit 5, havent played a single bot game (apart form the special feature games of course) since, in my opinion playing against bots is rather boring and while you will lose a lot more you will have a lot of fun and learn more from playing against people

anyways i got really lucky because the 2nd week i started playing illaoi was free and immediately deceided "yep this is what i want" so i grinded like 30 games and got her, just keep cycling until you find a champion you really enjoy and save up for em
