The state of Lee Sin

Am i the only one out here that's sick of all the whining about lee being op, never getting nerfed, getting buffed whenever he becomes #2 even though:

The last (and only buff since 2 years) buff lee received was the 15% bonus health dmg upon hitting someone with the person you kicked with your ult

And for getting no nerfs he got nerfed quite a lot since release

To be named:

  • passive attack speed lowered
  • no more shield on jumping to minions/wards
  • higher cooldown on w if jumping on minions/wards
  • no more armor/mr and lowered lifesteal/spell vamp on 2nd w
  • attack speed lowering removed from e
  • e slow no longer stays untill the end of the duration, instead it gets restored gradually
  • R scaling lowered
  • q second cast % missing dmg lowered

He isn't #1 for a LONG time already

Now ofc i'm an euw player but back in euw i don't see a lot of lee anymore and if he's picked in my team i know that i'll lose if the game passes 20 minutes, 'cause he's useless by then (if built ad, he won't be powerful enough to assassinate or properly fight, if built tank he deals 0 dmg unlike most tanks these days)

People just hate on lee because of his state after the first buff he received post release (as no one deemed him worthy to be played on release)

And that hate lasts up to this day, altho it's totally unrightious right now

Lee gets outclassed in every way by other junglers/toplaners, all he can do is act fancy by dashing around, yet either insta dieing when caught, or dealing 0 dmg

So can someone please, PLEASE explain me why he's this op? As i sincerely can't comprehend this anymore

He's a really strong pick right now. This boards, however, is anti Riven, anti assassin, anti yasuo, and anti lee sin. The perpetual motion of circlejerking for mages is basically the norm for the boards. Secondary circlejerk is adcs. Seriously. Try making a "miss fortune OP" thread. Instant 2k downvotes.

You know, one of the issue with focusing on something's patch history is that you miss the point of their current-power level. If anything, a history of nerfs usually means that they are getting indirectly buffed from elsewhere or their kit is just so exploitable, they're always unbalanced.

He's been #1 since season 2. There's no disputing this fact since even after the preseason jungle changes, he stayed the most picked.

he's op because the league boards is full of bronze shitters who try flashing after being q'd and position in a way that they just get kicked in to their whole team, or try dueling him early on champions that are shit at dueling.

lee is fine the way he is, the community is just bad at the game.
