What is it that causes the 7 win / 7 loss cycles?

I'm confused, is there some formula in matchmaking that looks to match players with winning streaks on teams with players with losing streaks? I don't mean semi-bad games on the losing streaks I'm talking 0/12 mids before 20 minutes , troll Nunu supports stealing blue and jungler afk's type of games.

Is it auto fill?

Is it MMR?

Is it the snowball state of the game?

Not trolling so if we could keep the memes to a minimum and have a legit discussion.

according in the most recent dev post (theres a link in it thatll take you to what im saying) that isn't the case, they dont match you with worse players when youre on a streak. i however call bs because it happens too regularly to be set aside as "oh, you just got players having a bad game" i will always firmly belive that matchmaking puts you with shit players on purpose when on a win streak until it doesnt happen literally every win streak i get

Two reasons:

Mentality, if you on winning streak you eprform betetr then on losing streak.
Being tired, if you play at 4 am after 10 other games, you perform MUCH worse then fresh.
