Are there guidelines about what client ping value ranges are Excellent, good, fair, bad, terrible?

Hello all,

Are there guidelines about what client ping value ranges are Excellent, good, fair, bad, terrible? :-) I see different values for people on webcasts and videos, which are much lower than mine. ;-/

Also, is there something one could do to improve that...besides changing ISPs, getting better speed service, using Ethernet instead of WiFI. :-)

PS: My Tracert gets timeout. :-( I currently have 133 ms ping 23 FPS on a custom game. I'm on Ethernet to router with 4 Mbps service.

50 or less is good ping. 100 ish is acceptable.And if you usually play around 100 ping you would feel less of an impact of it since you are more accustom to it. Anything above there are skillshot that will start having some minor issues. But as long as you don't play with a champion with such abilities. It is doable. 300+ it becomes a handicap, can you still win? yes but its that much harder on you.

Your ping isn't the problem. Your FPS is terrible at 23. That's really bad and will have detrimental gameplay. That's generally related to your computer hardware and not the internet though. It might be worth sending in a support ticket to see if they can suggest something (I'm a luddite and cannot technology)

.<100 is good. Most people won't notice much difference under this (as long as it's relatively consistent i.e. +- 20 ping)

100-200 is reasonable for the average player. Around 200-300 is difficult, but one becomes accustomed to it. When I played on 200-250 I didn't even realise the delay because it was the norm (and I was shit).

300+ is getting more laggy and it starts to be more difficult/impossible to dodge without predicting because of the delay.
