Is there a way to fix dynamic que for mid mains?

I am thinking something along the lines of 50% first pick guaranteed. This still means you will have to learn other roles.

I am a mid main; with support being my second best role. With the system now; all top, bot, jungle have to do to get their role is put mid second. They will get their main 90% of the time. Support can que support first and get their role 90% of the time as well. Four roles can get their main a high percentage of the time while I get to try to help carry on my secondary role.

If I put mid first and support second; auto support. If I put mid first and fill second; auto support.

I don't mind playing support as it is my second best; however, I do not want to play it 90% of my games.

I am currently 9-2 with Janna; on a 7 game win streak with her. This is not about wins and losses.

I play around 5-6 games per day max.

It is frustrating to literally never get my best role. By the time I actually get it; I am weak from not playing it for three days. I would rather have longer que times; then get support every single time I que for my mid primary role.

For now; I will continue supporting the rift for 90% of my games; however this needs to be addressed. The game gets stale playing the same role all the time.

Sure I can learn another role; however, mid and support have been my mains since season one and I never had this problem before this que. Four other roles are fine and don't have to learn anything new. They can pretty much play only one role. I don't think it is fair that I have to drop to my third role to stop myself from getting support 90% of the time. The dynamic que system was poorly designed.

I enjoy playing support as my main role, but I like to play all the other roles as well. So I had to stop queuing for support just to be able to get the other roles sometimes. It's really important to do this if you want to keep your skill up in the other roles and not fall off too badly. When I want to just play support, I don't even bother picking Support as my primary role and trying to figure out a secondary role. I just hit Fill and get the support position. Every blue moon there is someone who mains support. He gets the support role and because I keep my other roles up I can fill whatever position I'm in. Even if you main Support it can be good to choose Support as your secondary role if you are confident that you can fill another role because you will get Support almost all the time anyways. But if you aren't a player that can play lots of roles well, it becomes very difficult to keep your skill up in all the roles. That forces players like you to become support mains because you can't confidently pick a secondary that will help you keep your skill up in your primary. Your other option is, of course, to give up support (a role you would like to play sometimes) and learn another non-support role. :/
