You're at work or school. It's an awful day and all you keep thinking about is getting home and 'owning some noobs' on league. Quitting time finally rolls around, you're almost home when you remember that new patch just hit! Now you're really excited. You slap that space bar waking up your league machine, type in your username which is so second nature by now you could perform open heart surgery while typing it in. You slide that 5 button gaming mouse over to ranked... And it hits you like a ton of bricks. "F#%@, solo queue..." You ask your friends if they want to gain some fat ranks with you, but then you remember you can't play ranked with friends. You spend the next 3 minutes debating whether or not to just play an aram or normal. "Screw that" you say; "I want to get gold so I can get the season rewards that I have been waiting for my entire life." You slam that play button and pick your favorite OP champ and go into a solo queue game. Loading in, you ruffle your hands, getting ready to gain some ranks you've been waiting for your entire life. You walk to midlane, and start farming. Shortly after, to your surprise, you hear "first blood." You see as your bot lane dies to their jungler, but you shake it off, remembering that you are skilled at the game and that you can carry these noobs. "What the fuck is wrong with you, FUCKING STAND IN FRONT OF ME LIKE A REAL SUPPORT" your bot laner types in chat "yo fuck you get good, tired of these noob adc's who think they're doublelift" your support replies "YOU KNOW WHAT? ILL SHOW YOU DOUBLELIFT" Your adc replies, and proceeds to walk to their nexus.

You get a kill, and then another one. You begin to feel optimistic. Its 20 minutes into the game, and you're 4/0. You destroyed lane and get their turret. You press tab, and to your utter dismay, you see it. 0/8 vayne adc. 0/2/1 support blitzcrank. "well, at least our support's not doing that bad" You proceed to recall and realize that he's been afk all game. Your vayne is still running to their nexus, and you lose all hope. "well, whatever. Bad luck I guess" you say as you surrender

You lose 18 lp, and decide to play another game of fabulous solo queue. You pick your favorite champion again, and go into game. Things start off amazing. 5-0, you are 2/0 and your bot is 3/0. You push mid, and hit their inhibitor, and then you see it. "Summoner has disconnected" You stare in dismay as your adc walks back to base, the tears streaming down your face. "Summoner has reconnected" You and your full team push mid, and to your further dismay you see it. "Sorry guys, i have to go eat dinner, parents opop" You slam your hands on your keyboard and exit your client. "IM FUCKING DONE. WHY CANT I JUST PLAY WITH MY FRIENDS? WHY DO I HAVE TO LOSE BECSUE OF THESE NOOBS FFS WTF RITO" Your friends laugh as you rage your heart out. "Thats why you never play solo queue"

TL;DR - Screw off with the dynamic queue hate, solo queue had WAY more problems than this. Go find people to play with, its not that hard.

You've done nothing to support your point in that Solo Q was bad; you just stated an example from one game or one scenario. I'll try my best to explain why, at least MY hate, comes from about Dyn Q. Just FYI before I begin, 90% of these points I bring AGAINST Dyn Q were originally brought by Riot. Riot said this towards people talking smack about Solo Q since season 1. Obv I didn't include it all or I'd be writing a dissertation.

Dynamic Queue hate is based off the reasons RIOT stated for 5 years prior to season 6. They legit said "We aren't going to implement a higher premade queue than Duo and aren't going to force team rank on players." You are right though a good majority of the player-base were talking smack about Solo Q. It's the LYING that was the problem. Riot smiled at us and said "Look Dyn Q allows you to play with friends! Teamwork and more competitiveness!" Which is false. Assuming you do play rank with friends in a 4 or 5 man, do you honestly "earn" the rank? Like do you REALLY belong there? No. Solo Q would accurately find your "skill level" after playing thousands of game. Since YOU are the only common factor in EVERY GAME you play, your stats you generate after like 2000 games start to matter and truly reflect on what kind of player you are/etc.

Next part let's talk about something short; finding players to play with. Unless you are 100% confident you're going to win most of your games, you shouldn't premade. It messes up your MMR. A LOT if you lose. So let's say God forbid you get that one bad game that causes one of your premade friend to tilt hard and start raging and feeding and acting like a prima dona. Welp that's a pretty horrid feeling.

Next I'll use pro sports team to prove this point home. Pro basketball players practice as a team. If they practiced only 2v2's, how are they expected to play a game with 3 players they seldom play with in comparison to the opposing team who has 5 players who all played together in a span of 100+ games? So let's translate that to LoL. Let's say your team is all randoms and enemy is randoms. Both of you are at the same equal footing. You have no experience playing with teammates so you don't know your teammates' tendencies and flaws and strengths. You don't know how aggressively they play, you don't know if they will follow up on an engage, etc. If you played over 100-500 games with the same players in a premade, you begin to realize how they play. You pick up on their tendencies like "That guy likes to orb walk and accidentally cancel is AA a lot," from that statement I can deduce there is a possibility my teammate won't secure the kill because they might cancel that last AA. This will make me go all out and secure that kill even if I'm support or any other role.... whereas if I have played hundreds of games with the guy who I know has rarely messed up an AA and AA cancel I might not try to secure that kill for myself. The team who are more familiar with each other have the advantage. In pro team sports like volleyball or basketball it is difficult to solo carry everyone on your back. The team with the stronger roster (not better players, just stronger players at the time of the game) usually win the game. Like in League, the team with stronger 5 win the game.

A Dynamic Queue full of strangers is like a brand new team that has formed and athletes are not getting along/just starting to know each other. A Dynamic Queue full of 5 man premade is like a veteran team who has played together for the longest time ever. They would blindly trust each other and can do moves I can't with my teammates. Now bring that mentality into League... and tell me "Screw all the Dyn Q hate," while Riot continues to smile and say "Dyn Q is more competitive and more fun and more fair!" Because EARNING YOUR RANK was part of climbing the ladder. Now, everyone wants to get boosted. Go to the LF team section in the forums. You see people openly fucking ask for full premades with smurfs in them. Now back in duo Q where you can only account for 40% of the team's strength, that might have been fine but when you got 4-5 man premades that's totally unfair. And FYI, RIOT were the ones who said ALL these points I repeated to you. These were what they said to players like you who claimed Solo Q was bad (which was most people back then.... NO ONE liked Solo Q back then except for players like me).

Also as far as Solo Q having way more problems; this isn't true. Back then, we didn't have a queue system that allows you to choose your role. So most players got roles they didn't want or main in but higher rank you go the more willing players were to let slide and let you have roles you might want. No real problems with Solo Q itself. People who legit defend Dyn Q at this point don't understand these points and that's why they continue to write BS statements like that. Well just don't rage or criticize ME... Again Riot were the ones who brought most of these points up about why they didn't implement Dynamic Queue like system in seasons 1-5. They were adamant. Because people would abuse it and get ranks they didn't deserve (epidemic right now in diamond and plat), people wouldn't TRULY learn to cooperate with strangers because only focusing on their friends, unfair for team without premade. Thus they kept team ranked as team rank.
