@Riot Please explain why Solo-Queue won't be released for another Month and a Half

You have maintained radio silence on the issues, changing it from: "A few weeks after season start: Solo Ranked" to "When we made the original announcement of Solo Queue, we expected to finish it in the timeline of weeks to month or two," to now "we're guessing we're a month an a half from now we may see it emerge."

Please tell us what has septupled your development time for Solo Queue, because it seems like right now you just want it to die off.

What issue is so difficult that testing hasn't even begun on the PBE for it?

Honestly Riot should be embarrassed. Dynamic queue should never have been released without soloQ unless initially SoloQ was never going to be released and this is damage control.

Part 2. The fact that solo Q is taking months for release should be a huge red flag to all players. It is highly unlikely the new solo Q system / dynamic Q 2.0 will match the dota 2 system with 4's removed. If Riot was going to mimic that kind of system it would be very easy to create the system. Simply duplicate your existing dynamic Q, add in some lines to permit you from queuing if your part is > 1, and then link LP rewards to your new solo Q ladder.

Again if they wanted to make the real deal it would be done by now. We should prepare ourselves for a disappointment and again not a true solo Q. I expect 4's to stay and Riot to forcibly draft solo Q players to play a dynamic game. (meaning even less of a reason to queue support)

It's like they are trying to lose their player base or something, good quality games will all come out between then and now and some will even have league level addiction game play, this doesn't even have to make regular solo Q players quit just the ones that stream league, once that happens the games playerbase will drop like a stone in water.

I'll assume they won't implement it. They want this to be "friend" oriented or something, even if it means the game will suffer. I personally despise the concept of playing against 4 man or 5 man teams while solo q. It's rather unfair and unprecedented. We NEED answers, but the devs stay silent.

I honestly don't see what's wrong with DynamicQ apart from the longer queue times in high elo.

They're probably trying to figure how what the hell they're going to do to make it and dynamic queue work. 95% of players are going to go to solo leaving dynamic deserted, but it'll still have longer queue times than current dynamic queue.

I'd like to hear an official reason from Riot as well though. Don't know why someone downvoted you.

My guess is that they came up with some idea that they think will massively improve the implementation of Solo Queue and decided to put that in before they release.

Now whether this was actually the right decision, and whether it will actually prove to be as good as they think it will be I have no clue and wouldn't even hazard a guess. But 90% chance that was their thinking on this one

But weird how it happened. Maybe trying to incorporate DQ ish elements to SQ? Like pick primary and secondary. Or just how it use to be?

Go play Dota or another MOBA. Riot is very obvious with their intention. This is the MOBA for friends. Get friends or leave, I guess.
