i love rengars counter play to his ult

Anyone saying stealth detection counters Rengar ult is either a Rengar main or has no idea how his ult works lol. "Go ahead and use your trinket as soon as you see that little "!", I bet you will be dead before your finger even reaches your hotkey lel" [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Upgrade your red trinket...

Same counter to Vayne, Shaco, Wukong, Twitch, etc...

Upgraded red trinket gives you true sight for 10seconds after cast. If anyone can see him everyone can see him. So your support with an upgraded red can give your top/mid/adc/jg vision to kill rengar (or shaco, wukong, etc...). Easy.

Oh, and if you're referring to his early level 6 ganks: That's the whole point of the champion - level 6 kill gimmick and if you're careful he won't snowball at all You have the exclamation mark and if an ally is nearby you can tell what direction he's coming from based on who gets the mark first.

Outside of a pink ward / sweeper...

• You can play a champ with a spellshield, like Sivir, Noc, etc., and pop it as soon as he jumps on you (it will block his Q)

• You can use a mobility spell as soon as he jumps on you (if you're fast enough, you'll out-range his Q before he can use it)

• Or you can use a CC as soon as he jumps on you (or a knockback, which also makes his Q not reach you)

• If you have no CC, movement abilities or spellshields, you can build a Zhonya's and pop it when he jumps on you, and hope your team kills him before it wears off (or you can kill him, since he won't be generating his resource anymore).

Basically, playing against Rengar requires fast reflexes, and you have to be on your guard when you hear / see his ult warnings. Spellshields, mobility, CC, displacements and etc. all make his combo ineffective (unless he nets you). So, yes, it does have counterplay. ^^
