leaver means team loses LP

Time and time again, if we get a leaver, chances are, we'll lose. But who gets the LP loss? The whole team. What a punishing system, to those who are legit playing it out.

This doesn't work. It isn't fun, it isn't rewarding, and it makes me want to play ranked less.

What's the solution? I'm not sure. Perhaps just let the game play out and let the winning team get +LP, and have us not lose LP, but derank the leaver.

Or go back to lobby maybe?

But what if their computer blew up? What's the solution then? Not all leavers are bad folks. Sometimes it's beyond their control (ISP going down). But there are times when they actually intentionally quit.

Again, I don't know what the solution is. But what I do know is losing LP (and deranking) because of my team mate quitting/crashing isn't rewarding.
